AI supports our people
AI may assist our journalists, producers and staff, but people remain responsible for editorial decisions, accuracy, cultural judgement and everything Ngaarda Media publishes or broadcasts.

Culture, privacy and security come first
Personal, confidential, culturally sensitive, sacred or restricted information must be protected. AI must never override cultural authority, community protocols or Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property.

AI must serve Ngaarda Media’s purpose
We will use AI carefully, transparently and only where it strengthens our journalism, storytelling, accessibility and production. AI should support human creativity, community voices and First Nations storytelling , not replace them.
