CYCLONE PREDICTED TO LAND ON SATURDAY AS CATEGORY TWO

A blue cyclone alert is in place for people on the coast and islands between Mardie and Wooramel.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln is currently sitting north of the Pilbara coast and is likely to turn to the southwest.

The Bureau of Meteorology expects it to reform into a Tropical Cyclone tonight and impact the far west Pilbara and northern Gascoyne coast on Saturday as a Category Two system.

Roebourne and Karratha are no longer in the alert area.
