IMPACT DIGI CELEBRATES BACK-TO-BACK WINS AND A NEW CHAPTER IN PORT HEDLAND

Pilbara-based marketing agency Impact Digi is celebrating a significant milestone after being named Best Aboriginal Business at the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Managing Director Tamara BinAmat said the win was significant, given the expansion of operations from Karratha to Port Hedland last year.
“This was our first win at the Port Hedland Chamber Business Excellence Awards, so that’s really exciting,” she said.
“To come to Hedland and win Best Aboriginal Business was something really, really rewarding—especially to me, as a Yawuru woman.”
The award follows Impact Digi’s earlier recognition in the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce Awards, where they won Best Business with 6–10 Employees.
Ms Tamara said the new Hedland branch has been steadily growing thanks to a strong leadership team holding down the fort in Karratha.
“We’ve got a really great management team in Karratha now, which means I’ve been able to spend more time one-on-one with our clients in Hedland,” she said.
“They deserve a strong local presence, and that’s what we’re building.”
Impact Didi has been working on significant projects over the past year, including a standout collaboration with global energy tech company Baker Hughes.
“We designed the Reconciliation Action Plan for Baker Hughes, which is a huge international organisation with a lot of operations in WA.”
“It was months of work, and we were proud to incorporate artwork by Sammy Wyborn and her daughter. I’m in Perth this week to attend their RAP launch with their global executives.”
Back home, the Karratha-based team has grown to include content creators, social media specialists, graphic designers, a website developer, a copywriter, and a marketing strategist.
“We offer all marketing services right here from the Pilbara,”
“From branding to strategy to websites—if you’re trying to grow or launch your business, we can help.”
Looking ahead, she said there’s more exciting news on the horizon.
“Our biggest news in years is coming up next month, we’re opening a brand new fancy office at The Quarter in Karratha,” she said.
“We’ve designed a creative studio that’ll be a hub for our team and for the local community.”
With NAIDOC Week around the corner and more business awards on the calendar, Tamara says the team remains focused on staying grounded and growing purposefully.
“We’ll be entering the Karratha Business Awards again this year, and we’re now eligible for the State Awards, so we’re excited for what’s next,” she said.
“Little things, big things grow—and we’re just getting started.”
