NEW NYFL MAN TAKES THE REINS

A key Pilbara Aboriginal support organisation has snapped up Woodside’s former Indigenous liaison officer as its new CEO.

Sean-Paul Stephens has been with Ngarluma Yinjibarndi Foundation Ltd  for just one week.

He said he and the Board have a vision for the organisation.

“NYFL’s vision is to have healthy and prosperous Ngaarda Ngali community, that Roebourne is thriving,” he said. “And NYFL’s purpose is to deliver against that and certainly support members and the community the community organisations in Roebourne being a thriving and livable place.”

Ngarluma Yinjibarndi Foundation Limited began as an Aboriginal support agency using North West Shelf gas money.

However Mr Stephens said it had evolved to serve the whole community of Roebourne and surrounding communities.
